A Legacy Forged Over 20 Years

Stonebuilt was started in January 2006 by Devin Kimble and a business partner after working together for a few years to build homes. From day one the vision was simple… build incredible homes while developing long lasting relationships with each and every client.

After the first few years Devin was the sole owner of Stonebuilt and continued to grow the company, earning a reputation throughout Grande Prairie and the Peace Country for quality craftsmanship, honest communication and homes built with care. For over a decade he built Stonebuilt with the same hands-on spirit that defines the company today.

Matt Buchta joined Stonebuilt in 2021 as a partner, buying a 30% stake with decades of experience across nearly all sectors of the construction industry. Prior to joining Stonebuilt, Matt had a distinguished career building custom homes, production homes, multi-family developments and commercial construction projects. His diverse background enhanced the expertise of Stonebuilt while reinforcing the company’s commitment to quality and thoughtful execution.

Today, Devin and Matt combine decades of experience with a shared belief that every project deserves thoughtful planning, exceptional craftsmanship and a client experience built on trust.
